Frequently Asked Questions

#1 Does making an auto glass claim affect my insurance ?

Claims for auto glass damage fall under your comprehensive coverage part of your insurance.  Making a ‘Comprehensive’ claim does NOT affect your rates or cause you to lose your safe drivers discount.*
* Frequency of claims may affect future coverage.

#2 Do I need to contact my insurance company ?

No! We do it all for you. Just bring us your current registration and insurance policy (ICBC or Private) and we do the rest.

#3 How long do you need my car?

In most cases we need your car for 3 hours. this allows enough time for the adhesive to cure for a safe drive away time.  Some vehicles may take a little longer, such as motor homes or rare imports that are more complex.

#4 Do I need an appointment for chip repair ?

No. You do not need an appointment.  We offer no appointment/ drive in service for rock chip repairs. generally, repairs take 20-30 minutes.  If you are on a tight schedule and it works better for you to have an appointment then no problem.  We would be happy to book you the time that works best for you.

#5 Will my new windshield look the same?

Yes!  Your new windshield will be exactly like your old one and will meet all government and D.O.T. specifications.  The only difference is it won’t have that big crack in it.
